Fried chicken is not the only thing KFC is serving up, they are also
serving up some free money for your college education!
The college
scholarship offered by the KFC Colonel’s Scholars Program provides
funding for: Tuition, Fees, Books and Room and Board.
College
scholarship awards can be up to $5,000 per year. The scholarship winner
of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel’s Scholars Scholarship could
receive up to $20,000 over four years to help complete a bachelor’s
degree.
To be eligible to compete for the KFC Colonel’s Scholars Scholarship,
an individual must have earned a minimum cumulative high school GPA of
2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
The scholarship applicant must plan to pursue a
bachelor’s degree at a public, in-state college or university, be a US
citizen or permanent resident, and demonstrate a financial need for
college.
KFC Scholarship winners may begin their college career by
entering into either a 2-or 4-year accredited in-state
college/university, as long as they stay on track to complete a
