Nordstrom Scholarship Program - Nordstrom Program

The Nordstrom Scholarship Program is a scholarship offered by Nordstrom,
Inc., which is an upscale fashion retail chain. The scholarship amount is $10,000
which is awarded to 80 students annually.
The application for 2013 has not yet been announced,


but it will be open around the early part of the year.
Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship you need to be a high school junior who plans to attend an accredited college,
where the duration of study is four years. You also need to have a cumulative unweighted GPA of minimum 2.7. Participation in community work during school
is also an additional requirement to be eligible for this scholarship.

Gates Millennium Scholars Program

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS),
funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation,
was established in 1999 to provide outstanding African American,
American Indian/Alaska Natives,
Asian Pacific Islander Americans, 
and Hispanic American students
with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education,

in all discipline areas and a graduate education for those students pursuing studies in
mathematics,
science,
engineering,
education, or library science.
The goal of GMS is to promote academic excellence
and
to provide an opportunity for thousands of outstanding students with significant financial need to reach their fullest potential.

AFSA National Scholarship Essay Contest

What does the AFSA stand for?
The Automatic Fire Sprinklers Association,
that's what. If you thought the organization itself was crazy, 


they also give away $5,000 and $3,000 scholarships
to
those who showcase the positive effects
of
having automatic fire sprinklers present.

Berea College Scholarships

At Berea College, every admitted student is awarded a 4-year, tuition scholarship. This scholarship works in conjunction with any other grants or scholarships students receive to completely cover the cost of tuition. 

 Additional costs, such as room, board, and fees, may also be covered by the College, depending upon your financial need. Nearly all of their students receive additional aid for these costs.

ABC Sports, and the Big Ten Network; a former senior manager at CNN Washington; a director for South Korean TV; a winner of 30 best radio newscasts including two Edward R. Murrow Awards; and, a freelance audio supervisor from Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

college students from all across the nation.

The financial giant gives 10

up to 300 $2,500 scholarships annually.
